Wednesday Night Dinner
When hundreds of students line up anywhere on a college campus, there must be free food. Every Wednesday night of the school year, Front Porch has community volunteers make a delicious and free meal, an optional trivia game going on, and open and safe discussion about current issues where all viewpoints are welcome. While we invite you to eat food and stay, the food is served on to-go plates so you can leave whenever you need. These delicious dinners have been described as “the most family-like feel you can get away from home.” They’re just like the biggest, loudest, most diverse family holiday ever—except there’s somebody moderating conversation when topics get political. We truly believe there is something special about sharing a meal together.
